"Daddy" Portrait Raffle

Local artist Victoria Watson has donated a 16" x 20" custom framed
original portrait of Cesar Millan's dog, Daddy, to benefit Animal Aid.
Cesar is the star of the National Geographic show
"The Dog Whisperer".
Raffle tickets are being sold at the shelter and wherever
our volunteers bring dogs into the community
(Walmart, Care-a-Lot, etc.)
Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.
The drawing will be held at our silent auction in the fall.
You do not need to be present to win.

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate
a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed.

      (Kuranda Bed)

AAS 2009 Calendars featuring volunteer's photos are available for sale at the shelter and wherever we take our dogs.

The Animal Aid Society is a "no-kill" dog shelter. It is a nonprofit organization which receives no funding from state or federal agencies. All of the funds required to maintain the shelter and care for the dogs come from donations and special fund-raising events. Donations to the shelter are tax deductible.
Our dogs are not euthanized. Dogs are kept at the shelter until placed in a home; however, this means that new dogs can only be accepted by the shelter after previous ones have been adopted or permanently placed in foster care. All our dogs are examined by a veterinarian and receive medical care as needed. They are current on vaccinations and are spayed or neutered. The adoption fee is $100.00.

The shelter is run by volunteers and there is always a need for additional Volunteers. The minimum age required to work inside the shelter is 15 years.
