The old storage shed was taken down in several minutes by the air force team,
and the large dumpster was quickly filled with old debris from various parts of the shelter0425001246a.jpg - 56232 Bytes

We were fortunate to have so many enthusiastic air force people show
up to help resurface the play parks. The crew wasted no time getting the gravel spread into the play parks for the dogs to enjoy, so they won't be running in the mud anymore!

Scruffy's Play Park, was named after Scruffy, a favorite at the shelter during his time with us.. With the help of donations and sale of name plaques, the park was finished in the spring of 2008. Now the dogs (Betsy in this photo) can enjoy some excercise with a nice run in the park.

Kuranda Beds have made a big difference for our dogs. We are very fortunate and thankful to have so many caring friends of Animal Aid donate Kuranda Beds. As you see in the photos, they keep the dogs cool as cucumbers in summer, warm as toast in winter,
and are sometimes even good to hide under!
